The Band

@Risk plays great rock music – the best of classic rock!  We have a 60s and 70s show, a 80s and 90s show and we can mix it up with covers from across the decades.  We play songs everyone knows and loves so you can dance the night away. @Risk is a lot of fun!

Our show features music of the Cure, REM, the Doors, the Zombies, Pink Floyd, Tom Petty, the Cars, John Mayer, the Stones and the Beatles.  Listen to our videos and check out our current playlists!

@Risk has played gigs all over Central and Eastern North Carolina.  We were the house band for the Sports Pad in Downtown Greenville. We’ve played Sharky’s in Raleigh, the Broad Street Café in Durham, the Green Bean in Greensboro, the Bottega Wine Bar in Wilmington, A.J. McMurphy’s, The Corner, the Courtyard Tavern, and the Tipsy Teapot in Greenville, Deadwood in Bear Grass, The Mill in Washington, Kefi’s in Wilmington, R.A. Fountain and private parties in the triangle, Charlotte and Greenville.

Don P (Guitar – Vocals)

Don P grew up in the Windy City listening to the blues. He got his first guitar at 12 to play a gig at church camp – and he hasn’t stopped. In college he sang back-up vocals for club bands and spent his tuition money going to shows. It took a while to graduate! Don P came to G’Vegas to hear music at the Attic and never left. He formed @Risk.

Ellis (Lead Guitar)

Ellis is widely considered to be one of the greatest and most influential guitarists in Eastern North Carolina.  He is the newest member of the power quartet that is @Risk. From his classic tunes to the latest hits from the radio Ellis puts the funk in your function.

Pipes (Drums - Vocals)

Pipes was born in Louisville and spend his early years working on his vocal chops. One late night while doing shots with John Bonham he learned to play the drums.  He’s never stopped banging! In G’Vegas he hooked up with Don P to anchor the new quartet.  He hits hard so watch out!

Redbone T (Bass – Vocals)

Redbone T was born with a bass under his bed.  He never knew where it came from.  One night in a dream, John Paul Jones taught him how to play and he never turned back. After some gigs in Florida, Chapel Hill and New York City (CBGBs), he hitchhiked to G’Vegas to join @Risk. The band was now complete.
